Food Insecurity Stamps

                                       Hunger Action Month Stamps
These stamps were made to bring awareness to food insecurity in America. The main principle in designing these was to convey a message that was both simple and effective enough for the viewer to just take one look at the stamps and immediately understand what that message is. As usual, I first had to draw some concept thumbnails to decide what will best represent what food insecurity means- a lack of access to healthy food due to financial and/or social issues.
After determining the four thumbnails I wanted to base my stamps off of, I then went over to Adobe Illustrator to draw them using vector art. Once that was completed, I then had to figure out a color palette to set the mood of my theme, which is hunger. I decided to go with a dark navy blue, complimented with dulled down hues of orange/brown and blueish gray.
